In Type 2 Bus models the shift coupler is accessed under the vehicle at the front of the transmission. The stock replacement shift coupler fits 1954-1964 Beetles, 1956-1964 Karmann Ghias, 1950-1967 Type 2 Bus Models and 1962-1963 Type 3s.
